Implementation of Character Education for Students and The Role of the Nyai in Developing the Al-Inayah Cebolek Kidul Islamic Boarding School

Bu Nyai's role in developing the Al-Inayah Cebolek Kidul Islamic boarding school is very important, from its inception until now. Al-Inayah Islamic boarding school is one of the tahfidzul qur'an Islamic boarding schools in Cebolek Kidul village. Character education for students is also very important to overcome moral crises and strengthen character. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of Santri Character Education and the role of Mrs. Nyai in developing the Al-Inayah Cebolek Kidul Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative method. This research was carried out very selectively to obtain the authenticity of the data. The results of this research can be concluded as follows: (1) The aim of Islamic boarding school education is to develop and create a personality that is in harmony with Islamic teachings. (2) Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions with unique characteristics. Character education has an important role in maintaining good character throughout his life. (3) Mrs. Nyai Hj. Musyarofah has made a major contribution to the development of Pondok Al-Inayah from its inception until now. In the domestic realm, Mrs. Nyai often chases the students about cleanliness, discipline, and being unclean and pure. Meanwhile, in the public sphere, Bu Nyai often holds routine Koran readings every Saturday and Wednesday with the women of the Cebolek Kidul village.

Influence of Problem Based Learning on Students Critical Thinking Ability

Problem based learning can help them become active and independent students and improve their ability to think and solve problems. This study aims to: 1) To assess fifth-grade students' critical thinking abilities at SDN Pannara Makassar City without making use of problem based learning methods. 2) To assess the critical thinking abilities of fifth-grade students at SDN Pannara Makassar City, utilized was the problem based learning approach. 3) To determine the influence of problem based learning methods on students' critical thinking skills between social studies learning outcomes of students who were given the problem based learning method and those who were not given the problem based learning method. Quasi-experimental research is this kind. Non-equivalent pretest-posttest study design with two classes is used in this investigation. Specifically, there are two classes: control and experimental. In the trial lesson, the traditional lecture method is used for learning, and in the experimental lesson, use of the problem based learning approach. From the data obtained, it can be seen that the influence of problem based learning methods can improve students' critical thinking skills. The results of inferential statistical analysis using covariance analysis (ANCOVA) obtained a Sig.count value of 0.000 with α = 0.05. The analysis revealed that the Sig.count value was greater than α (0.000 > 0.05), so that Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted. As a result, it is possible to draw the conclusion that using problem based learning techniques in addition to traditional learning can help students' critical thinking skills.

The Influence of the Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach on Students Social Sciences Learning Outcomes

In social studies classes, students' learning outcomes may be impacted by the absence of learning variables used during the teaching process. The aim is to find out how the application of a CTL-based learning approach can influence students' social studies learning outcomes. This research adopts a quasi-experimental research type with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest research design. The sampling technique was carried out purposively on a population of 91 students, resulting in two sample groups including class VIIIa as the experimental group with 30 students and class VIIIb as the control class with 30 students. The instrument used as a data collection tool is an essay test. Data analysis techniques use descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics (hypothesis testing). The research results obtained in the form of descriptive statistics show that of the 13 statements regarding the implementation of contextual learning and learning, 7 implementation statements are included in the Effective category, 2 statements in the very effective category, and 4 statements in the Quite Effective category. The results of this observation show that the implementation of contextual learning and learning of social studies subjects is going well. The results of hypothesis testing for social studies learning outcomes through an independent sample t-test show that Sig. count < α or 0.013 < 0.05, which means that there is a significant influence of contextual learning and teaching approaches on the average value of social studies learning outcomes for experimental group students.

Development of Media for Class IV Students in Social

This research aims to produce a ritatoon media product for the social studies subject for grade IV students which has been validated and is suitable for use in elementary social studies learning, especially on material about the socio-cultural diversity of the Indonesian nation. This research is included in development research with the ADDIE research model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The results of this research indicate that the ritatoon media developed in this research is categorized as very valid. In this research, the validity value obtained from the validation results of material experts was 92%, media experts were 94%, small group student questionnaire responses were 89%, and large group were 94%. Based on the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the ritatoon media is very valid or suitable for use as a social studies learning medium for class IV elementary school.

Educational Benefits of Cu An Kiong Lasem Temple in Social Science Learning

This sincerity has a continuous history of Chinese civilization which until now can still be found some ancient relics of former glory. This aim of article is to analyze the educational benefits of Cu An Kiong Temple in Lasem as an educational resource within the context of Social Studies at SMA N 1 Lasem. Cu An Kiong Temple is likely a significant historical and cultural site that plays a vital role in the study of this subject. This article will explore how Cu An Kiong Temple contributes to students' understanding of Chinese history, culture, and traditions, with a focus on the local context of Lasem. The article will also discuss approaches and teaching strategies that teachers can employ to integrate Cu An Kiong Temple into the Social Studies curriculum. This may involve field trips, research projects, or experiential learning methods to engage students and enhance their comprehension of the subject matter. Supported by research or case studies, this article will emphasize that Cu An Kiong Temple is not merely a tourist attraction or historical site but also an effective tool to enrich students' learning experiences in Social Studies and promote a better understanding of Chinese culture and history in the local environment.

Implementation of Brainstorming Method to Improve Social Studies Learning Achievement of Grade VIII Junior High School Students

This research is motivated by the observation data that the researchers did that social studies learning is still low in achievement because it is not appropriate to choose the method in conveying the material. Learning using the brainstorming method, which was carried out at SMP "Empat Lima" Karanggeneng Lamongan, was assessed as being able to improve learning achievement. The goal is to know the steps, supporting factors, accelerating factors, and the impact of applying the brainstorming method. The method used is the descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques are using interviews, documentation and observation. The benefit of research is that students can improve their achievement. Students can convey ideas and new solutions according to the material, which can increase self-confidence. The research was conducted at SMP "Empat Lima" Karanggeneng Lamongan in class VIII with a total of 17 students. The brainstorming method is a method in which students are trained to be able to provide opinions and solutions, and students are given breadth without any criticism or objection. This brainstorming method is suitable for use in social studies lessons, especially at the junior high school level. The brainstorming method can improve learning achievement because students can obtain new information and knowledge from seeking references so that students can think creatively and innovatively, and it can also increase students' self-confidence. The steps of the brainstorming method properly and correctly can increase student achievement. Learning the brainstorming method also has supporting factors, boosters and a positive impact on students.

The Role of Citizenship Education in Raising Awareness of Complying with Campus Rules and Regulations at UIN North Sumatra Medan

This research aims to analyze the role of citizenship education in raising awareness of obeying campus rules and regulations at the North Sumatra State Islamic University, Medan. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis study method. Data collection used observation, interviews and document study methods. Next, the data was analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research conclude that citizenship education plays an important role in shaping student awareness and behavior regarding campus rules and regulations at UIN North Sumatra Medan. Through citizenship education courses, students gain a deep understanding of the rights and obligations as citizens, the importance of active participation in democratic life, and how to transcend differences to achieve understanding and peace. Furthermore, the role of citizenship education in awareness of obeying campus rules and regulations at UIN North Sumatra is to create students who are disciplined, intelligent and responsible in living campus life. Students become more aware of their rights and obligations as citizens, as well as respecting differences and following applicable rules.

The Relationship between Intensity of Social Media and Learning with Learning Outcomes of Sociology in Ngawi Regency

Teenagers, one of Indonesia's primary consumers, mainly access social media using smartphones. As a student, they use it freely, even when the teachers are in classes. Schools fear unlimited access to social media because the distraction could affect their scores. However, it also could bring positive change. 2019 is the year when the global pandemic crippled the world. Schools are forced to operate online with no direct supervision of the teachers. Social media could be used as an alternative teaching method in such events. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the intensity of social media use and learning related to learning outcomes. The use of social media carried out by students regardless of time affects student learning outcomes, both positively and negatively. Teachers use social media to support the value obtained by students to the maximum through utilization in learning. This study uses correlational quantitative methods with problem characteristics in the form of relationships between 2 or more correlations. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires and interviews. The analysis techniques used are normality test, linearity test, double linear regression test, and Pearson correlation test. The results obtained are: (1) a positive and significant relationship exists between the intensity of social media use and student sociology learning outcomes. (2) there is a positive and significant relationship between learning and student sociology learning outcomes. (3) there is a positive and significant relationship between the intensity of social media and learning with the sociology learning outcomes of grade XI social studies students of SMA N 1 Ngawi. Teacher Quality in Central Java Through The Central Java BBGP Case Study Driving Teacher Program

The Mobilizing Teacher Program is a local government initiative to strengthen the competence and quality of teachers, with a focus on improving pedagogical abilities, leadership, and the application of innovation in the learning process. The writing of this article uses a descriptive qualitative method, the data collection method used in writing this article is by means of observation and interviews. The place used as the writing of this research article is in the center of the Central Java Provincial Movement Teacher Center, which is located in Surakarta City. The research results show that the Teacher Mobilization Program has an important role in improving the quality of teachers in Central Java. Through BBGP, teachers have the opportunity to participate in training and coaching aimed at improving teaching skills, understanding the latest curriculum, and applying innovative learning methods. In addition, the Teacher Mobilization Program also functions as a forum for teachers to share experiences and knowledge with fellow professionals. This collaboration helps increase motivation and enthusiasm in creating a more effective learning environment in the classroom. Values of Local Wisdom in the Jenang Tebokan Carnival Tradition in Kaliputu Village Kudus City Central Java

The aim of this research is to find out what local wisdom values exist in the jenang tebokan carnival tradition in Kaliputu Village, Kudus City, Central Java. This research uses library methods. Namely, the data collected was obtained from various scientific literature (library research). Then what is done in data analysis is by collecting data, then classifying it and drawing conclusions. The results of this research are concluded as follows: (1) Tradition is the concept of beliefs and behavior that are passed down from generation to generation. The concepts aimed at include religion, social customs, cuisine and art. Tradition comes from Latin, namely traditio, meaning "passed on" or what is called custom. (2) Jenang tebokan is jenang in a tray. The term "tebokan" comes from the word tebok which means a tray made of woven bamboo. (3) Local wisdom values in the jenang tebokan tradition, namely religious values, social values and cultural values.

Multicultural Values in PAI Learning and Their Implications for Students Tolerant Attitudes

The plurality of a society is the result of multicultural inherent in their lives, at the level of education (school) plurality can be seen from the diversity of students and multicultural life in the school environment. Not only in the wider community, diversity among students also creates big problems such as the outbreak of intolerant attitudes towards fellow students. This is contrary to the multicultural values that should exist in each learner. With the embedding of these values, it will give reciprocity to the attitude of tolerance in students. This article examines multicultural values in PAI learning and the implications for students' tolerance attitudes at SMK Cendekia NW Aiklomak. This article uses the theory of multicultural values in Islamic education, the relationship between multicultural and Islamic education. This article concludes: multicultural values in Islamic education learning include: values of justice, equality, brotherhood, tolerance, ukhuwah, equality and unity. Multicultural values in PAI Learning shape students' tolerance attitudes and behaviors in the form of: respecting differences, willingness to listen to opinions, rejecting discrimination, building constructive dialogue and building cooperation.

Implementation of Character Education in Forming Confident, Polite and Caring Character through Social Studies Learning at SMP Al-Hasib Malang Regency

Al-Hasib Junior High School is an educational institution that prioritizes student achievement, both in academic and non-academic fields. Therefore, it is expected that students educated in such schools have superior knowledge, intelligence and good morals. However, facts on the ground show that there are still bad attitudes and ethics towards teachers, such as disrespect and disrespect also still exist. In addition, students' confidence in socializing is also still lacking. This study aims to understand overall school policies that shape the social character of AL-Hasib Junior High School students in accordance with guidelines from the Ministry of Education and Culture, and also to explore how the implementation of character education is carried out to form responsible, polite and caring social character. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a qualitative descriptive type. The main sources of information involve the principal, student waka, curriculum waka, and Al-Hasib Junior High School students themselves. This research involves collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation which will then be analyzed by organizing the data, reducing the data and drawing conclusions. As for the validity of the data, it is tested using triangulation techniques. The findings of the research show that school policies to shape social character start from the implementation of the school curriculum. Learning activities in the classroom and teaching teachers are also directed to implement and fulfill aspects that are in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education. Then it ends with the evaluation process. At the implementation stage, students apply social character both inside and outside the classroom. This is expected to be a recommendation for teachers in carrying out learning in the future. Teachers are expected to provide deeper instillation of character values in students. In this way, it is expected that students can have a comprehensive understanding in implementing character values that are integrated with their daily learning.

The Problems and Dilemmas of Implementing the MBKM Curriculum Education Study Program in the Social Science in the Lombok Region

The implementation of the merdeka belajar kampus merdeka (MBKM) curriculum in education study programs at private universities in the social sciences cluster in Lombok is still facing various problems and dilemmas, even though the government has established regulations and guidelines for its implementation. This study aims to identify the challenges of implementing the MBKM curriculum in private tertiary education study programs within the IPS (Social Sciences) family in Lombok. It also seeks to analyze and elaborate on the dilemmas that arise during its implementation. The study utilizes a qualitative method by combining two types of methods, namely library research (literature review) and field study. The findings of this study indicate a lack of budgetary support from most institutions, including insufficient competence and concern among lecturers, resulting in a low level of student interest in the implementation. On the other hand, the dilemma faced in its implementation is that the curriculum and academic culture are primarily developed internally within tertiary institutions, while externally, there is a scarcity of partner institutions that share the same vision as the business world and industry within the context of the social sciences field.

The Effect of Using WhatsApp Groups on Elementary School Students Learning Motivation

ABSTRACT

This study aimed to determine an overview of the use of the WhatsApp group at SDN 22 Soreang, Minasatene District, Pangkep Regency, and overview of the learning motivation of high grade students and the effect of using the whatsApp group on motivation study high class students at SDN 22 Soreang, Minasatene District, Pangkep Regency. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were all students, totaling 108 people. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling, so that the research sample was 56 people. The data collection technique used was the distribution of questionnaires and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique was carried out using descriptive analysis in the form of percentages and inferential analysis using analysis prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing (t-test). The results showed that the description of the use of the whatsApp group at SDN 22 Soreang, Minasatene District, Pangkep Regency tended to be in the fairly good category, where descriptively a percentage value was obtained of 41%, an overview of the learning motivation of high grade students at SDN 22 Soreang Minasatene Subdistrict, Pangkep Regency tends to be in the good category, where descriptively a percentage value of 32% was obtained and there was a significant effect of the use of the whatsApp group on the learning motivation of high class students at SDN 22 Soreang, Minasatene District, Pangkep Regency, where the probability value was smaller than the significant level (0.018 <0.05).

Application of the Combined Learning Model of JIGSAW and AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition) Learning Methods in Social Sciences Subjects

Research is an effort made by teachers to increase the effectiveness of learning carried out at SMPN 6 Pontianak. This research aims to test the effectiveness of learning by combining two methods, namely Jigsaw and Auditory, Intellectual, and Repetition (AIR). This research is classroom action research (PTK) with the objective being 27 students in class IX of SMPN 6 Pontianak, consisting of 15 male students and 12 female students. Meanwhile, the subject of this research is a class IX social studies teacher who acts as a researcher and observer in the learning process. The data collection method used is in the form of test techniques, observation, interviews, and documentation. This classroom action research was carried out in two cycles. The average class result in cycle I was 24.8 with a completion percentage of 3.7%, while the results in cycle II showed an average class score of 94.8 with a completion percentage of 88%. This means that the average class score has increased from 24.8 to 94.8 and the percentage of classical learning completion has increased from 3.7% to 88%. This shows that the combination of the two Jigsaw and Auditory, Intellectual, Repetition (AIR) methods is effectively used in the learning process and can even improve student learning outcomes.

Legal Protection of The Providing Wages to Labor Workers by Companies Affected by Bankruptcy

This research aims to determine the extent to which wages are provided to workers by companies that have gone bankrupt. Companies pay wages to laborers, whether intentionally or not, every laborer always complains that they are not given wages. The Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia states that one of the main objectives is to create a just and prosperous national, state life in order to realize social justice by fulfilling the rights of every citizen to obtain work and a decent living for all Indonesian people. Apart from that, article 28 of the Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia states that every person has the right to recognition, guarantees, protection and fair legal certainty as well as equal treatment before the law. The type of research used is Normative-Empirical research. This means that researchers implement normative legal provisions (Laws) in their actions in every specific legal event that occurs in a society. This research was conducted at a company that had gone bankrupt as the sources were the company's workers. Then the results of his research showed that employment is an inseparable part of national development based on the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. By guaranteeing the basic rights of workers while still paying attention to developments in the national and international business world. In accordance with Article 95 paragraph (4) of Law Number 13 of 2003 concerning Employment, if a company is declared bankrupt or liquidated based on applicable laws and regulations, wages and other rights of workers/laborers are debts whose payment takes priority. So, there is a guarantee that employee rights to wages/severance pay can be fulfilled. Then the author's conclusion is that he believes that the company does not have good intentions in providing wages to workers on the grounds that the company has experienced a financial deficit.

Implementation of Parenting and Home Visit Counseling Program to Increase Students Learning Motivation at PKBM Janji Baik

This research aims to describe the implementation of the parenting counseling program at PKBM Janji and the increase in student learning motivation results after participating in the parenting counseling and home visit program at PKBM Janji Baik. The approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques and guidelines used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources in this study consisted of 8 people, namely 1 head of PKBM Janji Baik, 1 head of the counselor division, 3 parents/guardians of students and 3 students. Based on the results of research that has been conducted, it shows that: (1) the implementation of the parenting counseling program has gone well and can provide benefits for parents in understanding the character and education of students. It is said to be going well because parents have implemented parenting in accordance with the indicators in the implementation of the parenting counseling program. (2) the implementation of the home visit program has gone well. It is said to be going well because the implementation of the home visit program is in accordance with the indicators for the implementation of the home visit program. (3) students' learning motivation can be said to be good. This can be seen based on existing indicators, starting from students who have the drive to learn to the goals they want to realize.

The Position of Village-Owned Enterprises in Improving Community Welfare in The Field of Basic Education

Village-owned enterprises are built not only to function in economic business but also to work in the field of learning as an effort to meet the needs and welfare of villagers. The business of having a village engaged in learning is no less meaningful as other field businesses. The goal is to find out the position of village-owned enterprises in improving the welfare of residents in the field of basic education, as well as to recognize what other business fields are carried out by village-owned enterprises in Wera sub-district. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The instrument used in collecting information is in the form of an interview instrument. Information analysis begins with reduction information, display information and conclusion drawing verification. Information is also analyzed using a percentage formula. The results of the study proved that the majority of businesses run in the field of savings and loans with a percentage of 57%, Angkringan Business with a percentage of 14%, Livestock and agriculture with a percentage of 29%. in education with a percentage of 0%. It can be concluded that village-owned enterprises do not have a position in the field of education, it is stated in the study that village-owned enterprises do not have a position in the field of education, including basic education.

Analysis of Problems and Solutions in Social Studies Learning at Elementary Schools

The purpose of writing this article is; 1) describe the problems of social studies learning in elementary schools; 2) identify solutions to social studies learning problems in elementary schools. The method used in writing this article is a literature review or literature study, which uses theories and reference approaches that are relevant to the problem topic of writing this article. The steps for analyzing literature studies are; 1) describe the comparison and relevance of references that will be used to examine the topic problem; 2) matrix mapping according to data and reference needs; 3) establish concepts that are contextual to the topic problem, so that they can be linked to each other. Based on the results of the literature study conducted, it is clear that; 1) Social studies learning problems in elementary schools include; the material presented is less contextual to real life, development of problem solving skills is not carried out; textbook-based learning approach; and students' disruptive behavior often occurs in learning; 2) Solutions for handling social studies learning problems include; minimizing abstract material and focusing on issues that develop in everyday life to make it more contextual, selecting appropriate learning strategies and approaches to create meaningful learning for students, and using technology in learning to increase students' attention and concentration to Avoid disruptive behavior during learning.

Analysis of the Strategy for Development of the Thousand Stone Semliro Tourist Attraction in Rahtawu Village

The aim of this research is to determine the strategy for developing the Seribu Batu Semliro tourist attraction in Rahtawu Village. The Thousand Stones Semliro Tourist Attraction is one of the tourist attractions on the slopes of Mount Muria, Kudus Regency, namely in Rahtawu Village. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data sources originating from observations, interviews and documentation. The research results show that promotional activities are still lacking and tourist attractions are far from urban areas. The results of the SWOT analysis are as follows: 1) strength, namely the uniqueness of this tourist spot in the highlands of the Kudus area; 2) weakness, namely the factor that the road access to the Seribu Batu Semliro tourist attraction is still not good; 3) opportunity, namely revitalizing the economy of the surrounding community; 4) threats, which are prone to landslides during the rainy season which results in a lack of visitors. From the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the branding strategy is the most appropriate to use for developing the Seribu Batu Semliro tourist attraction.

Implementation of Character Education at the Al Ikhlas Taliwang Islamic Boarding School

This article discusses the implementation of character education at the Al Ikhlas Taliwang Islamic Boarding School. This research is intended to answer the problems: (1) Model of implementing character education at Al Ikhlas Taliwang Islamic Boarding School, (2) How to evaluate character education at Al Ikhlas Taliwang Islamic Boarding School. This research includes a case study using a qualitative approach. Data collection uses interview, observation and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques use the theories of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, namely data collection, data display, data condensation, and data verification. The results of the research can be concluded: (1) The implementation of character education is aimed at forming students who have noble character and are able to adapt to the existing environment. (2) Evaluation of character education by involving existing stakeholders. From leaders, caregivers and teachers, even senior students also participated. This evaluation activity is carried out at the end of every year. As a result, several points that did not work optimally were followed up with updates to the character education implementation model for the following year.

Data collection techniques were carried out by conducting field studies in the Wonosoco Village, Kudus Regency. The data obtained were then analyzed descriptively. The increasingly rapid development of technology has spurred the world of education to adapt to the progress of the digital world. Minister of National Education Regulation number 16 of 2007 mandates that one of the core competencies of teachers is to carry out assessments and evaluations of learning outcomes. Technology integration is one of the main characteristics of education today. The use of computers, the internet, smart devices and educational applications is becoming increasingly common in educational settings. Teachers must be able to integrate media into their daily teaching process. The problems that occur at SDN 32 Woja can be overcome by computerization in making questions. Research and Development (RnD) is the type of research used in this research. RnD is a highly effective research strategy or method for improving practice. The validation results of the computer mathematics learning assessment tool created by quiz maker Wondershare achieved an average percentage of subject matter experts of 90.25%. Based on the results of limited experiments, the average student response rate in the very interesting category was 80.21%. In summary, it can be concluded that based on students' answers, the effectiveness of the mathematics learning assessment tool using Wondershare quiz creation software is considered very effective, with an average assessment percentage of 83.26%, which means this learning assessment tool is suitable for use.
