Abstract

Keterampilan kolaborasi merupakan salah satu keterampilan abad 21 yang penting untuk ditingkatkan pada diri mahasiswa, disisi lain tantangan pembelajaran pada pola kerja kelompok mahasiswa yang masih didominasi oleh ketergantungan pada anggota tertentu, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya pengembangan keterampilan kolaborasi mahasiswa. Penerapan guided inquiry berbasis geoliterasi diharapkan efektif meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi mahasiswa pendidikan geografi melalui kegiatan penyelidikan permasalahan lingkungan yang bersifat kontekstual. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian pre-experimental design: the post-test only non-equivalent groups design, dengan subjek penelitian yakni mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Geografi FKIP USN Kolaka tahun akademik 2025/2026 yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Data keterampilan kolaborasi diperoleh menggunakan angket peer assesment dan self assesment. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara statistik deskriptif dan uji independent sample t-test untuk mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan kolaborasi yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok kelas, selanjutnya dianalisis melalui perhitungan effect size untuk menguatkan kesimpulan penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan keterampilan kolaborasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Geografi FKIP USN Kolaka dengan nilai rata-rata posttest 62,95 pada kelas ekperimen yang menggunakan model pembelajaran guided inquiry berbasis geoliterasi yang lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol dengan nilai rata-rata 53,84. Analisis effect size menunjukkan pengaruh yang sangat kuat, dengan nilai Cohen’s d = 1,89, Hedges’g = 1,85, dan Glass’s delta = 1,73, yang mengindikasikan bahwa model guided inquiry berbasis geoliterasi efektif dan bermakna secara praktis dalam meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi mahasiswa.
