Author Guidelines

Technical Guidelines:

  1. The author sends the manuscript to the editorial team of the Social Sciences Education Journal online via the following link https://ejournal.tsb.ac.id/index.php/jpi/login
  2. For the first time, the author must register via the following link https://ejournal.tsb.ac.id/index.php/jpi/user/register?source= After successful registration, the author can use the USERNAME and PASSWORD to log in to the Jurnal Pendidikan IPS. Every writer who wants to send a manuscript or check the status of a manuscript can use this account, WITHOUT REGISTERING ANYMORE.
  3. For writers who already have an account, you can log in directly via the following link https://ejournal.tsb.ac.id/index.php/jpi/login  After logging in, the writer can complete the columns required to submit the manuscript.

  5. Must use the Social Sciences Education Journal template: Download the template https://ejournal.tsb.ac.id/Template_JPI.docx
  6. Submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by the editor and only manuscripts that match the focus, cover, and writing style of the journal will proceed to the review process. Each manuscript will be reviewed by a minimum of two people.

  7. 1. The manuscript must be free from plagiarism. Only manuscripts that have less than 25% similarity will be processed.
    1. Authors who include images, tables, or parts of text that have been published from other places must obtain permission from the copyright owner.
    2. All contents of the manuscript and its legal consequences are the responsibility of the author.
    3. The editor has the right to make changes related to writing, without changing the substance of the manuscript.
    4. Before sending a manuscript to the IPS Education Journal, the author must be absolutely sure that he wants to publish his manuscript in the IPS Education Journal. Withdrawal of manuscripts that are in the review process will be subject to a fine. Read more Retraction Policy
    5. The manuscript is written in Indonesian. In general, terms should not be abbreviated unless they are used repeatedly and the abbreviation helps the reader. Use the complete word first, followed by the abbreviation in brackets. After that, just use the abbreviation.
    6. Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English
    7. The maximum length of the manuscript is 12 pages (including bibliography)
    8. Manuscripts are scientific papers resulting from research in the field of Social Sciences education, which have never been published
    9. A4 paper size with 1.5 single spacing and Goundy Old Style 11 font
    10. The manuscript is written in 1 column format
    11. Quotes and references are written using the Mendeley application
