Pengembangan Diorama Majesty (Majapahit Augmented Reality History) sebagai Media Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di Sekolah Menengah Pertama

Abstract

Pembelajaran sejarah dalam mata pelajaran IPS sering dianggap kurang menarik penyajian materi yang abstrak dan masih didominasi penggunaan buku teks. Kondisi ini menyebabkan siswa kesulitan dalam memahami peristiwa sejarah secara utuh. Integrasi media nyata dengan Augmented Reality menjadi alternatif untuk menyajikan materi secara konkret dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Diorama MAJESTY, media diorama berbasis Augmented Reality yang berfokus pada materi Kerajaan Majapahit untuk kelas VII di SMPN 9 Malang. Model ADDIE diterapkan pada penelitian dan pengembangan Diorama MAJESTY yang mencakup tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi dan evaluasi. Seluruh data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari instrumen kuesioner validasi media, validasi materi, dan kuesioner uji keterbacaan yang disebarkan pada siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor validasi materi mencapai 92%, validasi media mencapai 96%, dan uji keterbacaan mencapai 83,15% yang ketiganya masuk pada kategori sangat layak. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa, Diorama MAJESTY dinyatakan sangat layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di Sekolah Menengah Pertama.
