Komparasi Literasi Sains Siswa Berasrama dan Non-asrama terhadap Isu Hepatitis Akut Di Indonesia
Abstract
Hepatitis Akut menjadi isu penyakit terbaru di Indonesia. Hal ini menyebabkan generasi muda harus membaca informasi secara ilmiah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk melihat komparasi literasi sains siswa berasrama dan Non asrama terhadap isu hepatitis misterius di Indonesia saat ini. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan analisis komparasi T test SPSS. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan lembar instrumen menggunakan 8 soal test essay. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 20 siswa berasrama dan 20 siswa non-asrama kelas VIII SMP di Situbondo. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yaitu terdapat komparasi secara signifikan 0.443 > 0.05 terhadap hasil literasi sains isu hepatitis pada anak berasrama dan non-asrama. Simpulan hasil penelitian tersebut adalah terdapat perbedaan kemampuan pada siswa yang berasrama dan non asrama disebabkan keterbatasan informasi, media, dan faktor pendukung untuk mendapatkan informasi isu hepatitis akut. Harapannya untuk penelitian dimasa depan, perlu adanya pengembangan media atau model pembelajaran yang berbasis informasi isu kesehatan atau masalah kehidupan sehari-hari untuk meningkatkan literasi sains siswa.
