Hubungan Panjang Tungkai dan Daya Ledak Otot Kaki terhadap Kemampuan Berubah Arah pada Atlet Bolabasket

Abstract

Kemampuan berubah arah (Change of Direction) merupakan faktor penting dalam performa atlet bola basket. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara panjang tungkai dan daya ledak otot tungkai terhadap kemampuan berubah arah pada atlet bola basket BKMF FIK UNM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional pada 30 atlet. Pengukuran dilakukan dengan uji panjang tungkai, Vertical Jump Test untuk daya ledak otot tungkai, dan Illinois Agility Test untuk mengukur kemampuan berubah arah. Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan bahwa panjang tungkai memiliki hubungan negatif signifikan dengan kemampuan berubah arah (CoD) (r = -0.384, p = 0.018), sedangkan daya ledak otot tungkai memiliki hubungan negatif lebih kuat dengan kemampuan berubah arah (r = -0.646, p = 0.000). Analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa panjang tungkai dan daya ledak otot tungkai bersama-sama berkontribusi secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan berubah arah (CoD) (R² = 0.521, F = 14.694, p = 0.000). Dari koefisien regresi, diketahui bahwa daya ledak otot tungkai memiliki pengaruh lebih besar terhadap kemampuan berubah arah (CoD) dibandingkan panjang tungkai (β = -0.614, p = 0.000 vs. β = -0.324, p = 0.023). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa daya ledak otot tungkai merupakan faktor utama dalam menentukan kemampuan berubah arah, sementara panjang tungkai juga berpengaruh tetapi dalam skala yang lebih kecil. Oleh karena itu, dalam program latihan atlet bola basket, fokus utama sebaiknya diberikan pada pengembangan daya ledak otot tungkai melalui latihan eksplosif seperti plyometrics untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berubah arah (CoD).
