Pengaruh Functional Training Selama 8 Minggu terhadap Performa Fisik Atlet Bolabasket Mahasiswa

Performa fisik merupakan komponen penting dalam permainan bolabasket, namun program latihan yang digunakan di tingkat mahasiswa masih didominasi oleh latihan konvensional yang berfokus pada penguatan otot secara terisolasi dan belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan tuntutan gerak permainan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Functional Training selama delapan minggu terhadap performa fisik atlet bolabasket mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain kuasi-eksperimen pretest–posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 32 atlet bolabasket mahasiswa yang dibagi menjadi kelompok Functional Training (n=16) dan kelompok latihan konvensional (n=16). Program latihan dilaksanakan selama delapan minggu dengan frekuensi dua kali per minggu. Performa fisik diukur menggunakan tes sprint 20 meter, T-test agility, vertical jump test, dan push-up test. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji paired samples t-test, uji independent samples t-test, serta perhitungan effect size. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok Functional Training mengalami peningkatan yang lebih besar dibandingkan kelompok latihan konvensional pada seluruh variabel performa fisik. Kecepatan lari meningkat dari 3,43±0,05 detik menjadi 3,16±0,04 detik, kelincahan dari 10,09±0,18 detik menjadi 9,26±0,16 detik, daya ledak otot tungkai dari 51,38±2,41 cm menjadi 58,38±2,42 cm, serta daya tahan kekuatan otot dari 31,38±2,51 repetisi menjadi 42,81±2,98 repetisi (p<0,001). Disimpulkan bahwa Functional Training lebih efektif dibandingkan latihan konvensional dalam meningkatkan performa fisik atlet bolabasket mahasiswa.
