Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara koordinasi mata dan tangan dengan keterampilan servis pendek bulutangkis pada peserta ekstrakurikuler di SMK NU Kaplongan. Koordinasi mata dan tangan merupakan salah satu komponen kondisi fisik yang berperan penting dalam menunjang kemampuan teknik dasar bulutangkis, khususnya pada pelaksanaan servis pendek yang membutuhkan ketepatan, kontrol, dan sinkronisasi gerak. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas 15 siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis dan dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes koordinasi mata dan tangan serta tes keterampilan servis pendek bulutangkis. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment untuk mengetahui tingkat hubungan antara kedua variabel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara koordinasi mata dan tangan dengan keterampilan servis pendek bulutangkis, yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,575 dengan nilai signifikansi 0,02 (p < 0,05). Nilai korelasi tersebut berada pada kategori sedang, yang mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan koordinasi mata dan tangan cenderung diikuti oleh peningkatan keterampilan servis pendek. Temuan penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengembangan kemampuan koordinasi visual-motorik dalam program latihan ekstrakurikuler bulutangkis guna mendukung peningkatan kualitas penguasaan teknik dasar dan performa siswa dalam permainan bulutangkis.
