Penerapan Inkuiri Terbimbing Berbantuan Motion graphics Canva untuk Meningkatkan Berpikir Kritis pada Materi Getaran

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang masih rendah pada topik getaran menuntut adanya inovasi visualisasi pembelajaran agar konsep abstrak lebih mudah dipahami. Studi ini dimaksudkan untuk memaparkan jalannya penerapan guided inquiry yang dipadukan media motion graphics Canva, sekaligus mengukur dampaknya terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII pada materi getaran. Sebanyak 35 peserta didik kelas VIII dilibatkan sebagai subjek dalam rancangan one-group pretest-posttest pada pokok bahasan getaran pada SMPN 53 Surabaya yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes esai kemampuan berpikir kritis, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, dan angket respons peserta didik. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro–Wilk, normalized gain (N-Gain), dan paired sample t-test. Rata-rata skor berpikir kritis tercatat naik dari 63,03 di tahap pretest menuju 89,06 pada posttest, sehingga diperoleh N-Gain 0,70 yang tergolong kategori tinggi. Uji paired sample t-test mengonfirmasi signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (p<0,05), menandakan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis terjadi bukan secara kebetulan. Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran berlangsung sesuai sintaks guided inquiry, dan peserta didik memberikan respons positif terhadap penggunaan motion graphics Canva. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi model guided inquiry dan motion graphics Canva efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi getaran.
